What Process is Best?

There are several different types of metal casting processes used today. Our goal is to match the most cost effective means with the quality finish and shape that you require.

Sand casting

Sand casting is the most cost effective method and can be used even for highly detailed items. Most of the items in our gallery were made by this process. Sand casting is an environmentally friendly process.

Investment or Lost Wax Casting

Lost wax or investment casting is ideal for castings that require very smooth surfaces, or where the complexity of the shape make sand casting impossible. It is also ideal for very small items such as jewelry or small premiums.

Ceramic Mold Castings

Another alternative is the use of plaster or ceramic molds which also can create extremely smooth and detailed surfaces. The casting will be just as good as the original pattern, without the need to do time consuming hand finishing. This process is more costly than sand casting, but less expensive than investment or lost wax.

We can assist you in finding the best process to fit your needs whether it be ceramic mold, investment or sand casting.
